How to Vote for the 2026 Melon Music Awards — Deadlines in Your Time Zone
Fan voting for the 2026 Melon Music Awards runs on Melon. The clock below counts down to the next voting deadline in your local time — so you never miss a round.
Nov 14–15, Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul · voting deadlines appear here the moment Melon announces them.

The 2026 Melon Music Awards take place November 14–15, 2026 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul — the show’s first-ever two-day ceremony — and fan voting is run through Melon, one of Korea’s biggest music platforms. This page is built around one simple job: showing you how to vote and exactly how long is left before each voting deadline — converted to your own time zone, so a “23:59 KST” cutoff never sneaks past you at the wrong hour.
The official 2026 nominees and voting schedule haven’t been announced yet. As soon as Melon publishes the dates, the countdown above switches from the ceremony to the live voting deadline, and the schedule below fills in with your local cutoff times.
When can you vote for MMA 2026?
Melon hasn’t released the official 2026 voting window yet. In recent years, MMA fan voting has run in phases in the weeks before the ceremony — often a Top 10 Artists phase first, then the main categories — with each phase closing at 23:59 KST on its final day. For reference, 2025’s Top 10 vote closed December 4 and the main categories closed December 19 (KST). But the 2026 ceremony is a week earlier in the calendar than usual (Nov 14–15), so voting is likely to open earlier too — nothing is confirmed until Melon says so.
Here’s the round tracker. It’s marked to be announced now, and we fill in the real open and close times — plus your own local deadline — the moment the schedule drops:
| Phase | Opens (KST) | Closes (KST) | Your local deadline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nominees announced | TBA | — | TBA |
| Top 10 Artists vote | TBA | TBA | TBA |
| Main categories vote | TBA | TBA | TBA |
| Favorite Star vote | TBA | TBA | TBA |
Phase names above follow recent MMA years and may change for 2026. This is a schedule tracker, not the ballot — the actual vote is on Melon.
How MMA voting works
A few things are consistent year to year, and worth knowing before the window opens:
- Platform: voting is on Melon — the app (iOS and Android) or the website, melon.com. You log in and open the MMA vote tab. It’s open to international fans, but you need a Melon account.
- Cost: voting is free. In recent years, free Melon members could cast 1 vote per day per category, while paid Melon subscribers got 3 votes per day — so a subscription buys more votes, but you don’t need one to take part.
- Fan-voted categories: in recent years fan voting counted toward Top 10 Artists, the Artist / Album / Song of the Year grand prizes (as a share of the score), and made up the bulk of the Kakao Bank Favorite Star award. The final 2026 category list comes with the nominee announcement.
- How often: typically once per day, per account (three for paid members), during each voting phase. Exact 2026 rules are confirmed by Melon when voting opens.
These reflect how MMA voting has run recently; Melon’s official 2026 rules govern once published, and we’ll update this section then.
How to vote — step by step
- Get Melon. Download the Melon app from the App Store or Google Play, or open melon.com, and create a free account (fans outside Korea can sign up too).
- Open the MMA voting event. Log in to Melon and go to the 2026 MMA voting section once it’s live.
- Pick your category and artist. Choose the category (e.g. Top 10 Artists), then select the artist you’re supporting.
- Confirm the vote. Submit and make sure it registers — some phases need a final confirmation tap for the vote to count.
- Come back every voting day, and beat the deadline. If voting is daily, one missed day is one lost vote. Your local cut-off is in the countdown at the top of this page — check it before the phase closes.
The single most common way fans lose votes isn’t forgetting to vote — it’s misreading a “23:59 KST” deadline. If you’re in Los Angeles, that cutoff is the morning of the day before; in London it’s mid-afternoon. That’s exactly what the clock at the top converts for you.
Don’t miss your deadline
Voting closes at one fixed moment in Korea, but that lands on a different date and hour wherever you are.
